These markets track the point differential in the second half of a college football game, focusing exclusively on performance after halftime. Each outcome represents a specific threshold for how much one team outscores the other in that period.
All markets resolve based solely on points scored during the second half (including overtime) of the Notre Dame vs Navy college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. For Notre Dame markets, resolution occurs if Notre Dame outscores Navy by more than the specified margin; for Navy markets, resolution occurs if Navy outscores Notre Dame by more than the specified margin. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original start time, all markets remain open and resolve according to the final official result. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. No affiliation or endorsement exists between Kalshi and the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the 'wisdom of the crowd,' potentially incorporating information and perspectives not fully captured by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a small team of experts, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. While there can be alignment, differences often emerge due to varying information sources and analytical approaches. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts regarding the game’s potential outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final second-half spread of the Notre Dame vs Navy football game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing sports authority. The final point difference will determine which contracts pay out, and the value of those payouts will be determined by the contract prices at the time of resolution. Traders will then receive their winnings or losses based on their positions in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of contracts in this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Notre Dame or Navy teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favoring one team’s style of play, could also move the market. Unexpected coaching decisions or strategic adjustments announced before the game could also shift trader sentiment. Finally, any late-breaking news or public information about team morale or preparation could influence how traders assess the probabilities in this market.
