In the upcoming Superettan game between Norrby IF and IFK Varnamo, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Norrby IF vs. IFK Varnamo match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market can quickly adjust based on new information and diverse viewpoints. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments and the influence of public sentiment among traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective forecast. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Norrby IF versus IFK Varnamo match will determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the officially recorded result, ensuring a clear and objective determination of the outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final score and their shareholdings in the corresponding outcome. The process is designed to be transparent and reliable.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or weather conditions could significantly impact predictions. Unexpected tactical decisions by either team during the match, or even early goals scored, could also lead to shifts in market sentiment. Furthermore, broader football news and analysis, as well as public opinion expressed through polls or social media, can all contribute to changes in the perceived probabilities of different exact scores. These events create dynamic trading opportunities.
