Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an outcome as assessed by traders. Therefore, you might see differences between the implied probability on Polymarket and the odds offered by sportsbooks. These differences can arise from varying levels of expertise, access to information, or simply differing opinions among bettors and market participants. It’s important to consider both when forming your own assessment.
