Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, aiming to accurately reflect the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on statistical models and expert opinions, prediction markets can dynamically adjust as new information emerges and more traders participate, potentially offering more accurate probabilities. It's common to see differences in implied probabilities between this market and sportsbook offerings.
