If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced the probability, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular team scoring first, the price of those shares increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts as new information becomes available and traders update their assessments of the teams’ chances. This creates a real-time, aggregated forecast of the event’s outcome.
