All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Examining these differences can be valuable when forming your own opinion on the likely outcome of the Newport County vs. Walsall match, but remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the current probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders believe a particular score is likely, its price increases, and vice-versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s depth and volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in each possible result, offering a dynamic view of expectations for the Newport County vs. Walsall match.
