In the upcoming AFC Champions League Elite game between Newcastle United Jets and Gamba Osaka, scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 3:45 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Newcastle United Jets vs. Gamba Osaka match originally scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 3:45 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to reflect the true probabilities of each outcome, potentially offering more favorable odds for informed bettors. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, risk assessments, and market biases. It’s always wise to compare both sources before making a decision.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likely result. This creates a fluid and responsive pricing system based on collective intelligence, rather than static odds set by a bookmaker.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Newcastle United Jets versus Gamba Osaka match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a recognized sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the outcome.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either the Jets or Gamba Osaka could significantly shift probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue, or even pre-game analysis from respected football commentators, could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, large volume trades from influential market participants could create short-term price fluctuations, reflecting their informed opinions or strategic positions.
