Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe Newcastle is highly likely to win by two or more goals, the odds will shift accordingly, potentially diverging from the initial sportsbook line. This difference can be an indicator of where the market perceives value or disagreement with traditional oddsmakers.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability that traders collectively assign to Newcastle winning by 2 or more goals. As more traders buy contracts, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, and traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the outcome and capitalizing on price discrepancies.

This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Newcastle vs Everton match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official match statistics, specifically whether Newcastle secured a victory with a margin of two or more goals.
