On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. Traders set the odds by placing buy and sell orders, and the market price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe Newcastle will win by two or more goals, the higher the price of the 'yes' contract will climb, and vice versa. This creates a constantly updating assessment of the event's likelihood.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Newcastle vs Aston Villa match, specifically whether Newcastle wins by a margin of two or more goals. The platform will verify the final score against reliable sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Newcastle or Aston Villa would likely cause price movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also influence traders’ perceptions. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or managerial decisions could also shift the odds. Furthermore, any significant public sentiment shifts, perhaps following expert analysis or media coverage, could drive trading activity and move the price of this market before Oct 18, 2026.
