This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Australia Women and New Zealand Women scheduled for October 22 2026 at 4:15 AM ET in New Zealand Women Tour of Australia T20s. The outcome corresponding to Australia Women will be considered correct if Australia Women is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to New Zealand Women will be considered correct if New Zealand Women is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, incorporating a 'vig' or commission. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, aiming to accurately predict the outcome. While sportsbooks may initially have different odds, they often adjust as more information becomes available and public sentiment shifts, potentially converging with the prediction market's assessment. It’s valuable to compare both to gain a comprehensive understanding of potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of all participants, creating a constantly evolving forecast.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the result of the toss in the Australia Women vs New Zealand Women T20 series. Specifically, which team wins the toss will determine the winning outcome in this market. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency, providing a definitive outcome for all traders.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, or changes in weather conditions could significantly impact trader sentiment. Pre-match analysis from cricket experts and commentators, as well as public polls or forecasts, might also sway opinions. Unexpected announcements related to the series, such as venue changes or schedule adjustments, could also introduce volatility. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning the toss has the potential to move this market.
