All markets share identical protection and settlement mechanics across their respective thresholds. Each contract is designated as protected: if a player appears in the first half but not thereafter—including through overtime—the contract resolves at the pre-game fair price unless the required three-pointer threshold is met, in which case it settles based on actual statistics. If the player enters after halftime, settlement always uses actual statistics regardless of first-half performance. No injury designation, official ruling-out, or similar status affects protection status. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners. Thresholds range from 1+ to 5+ made three-pointers per player, with separate markets for each athlete and each numerical requirement.
