Description

This market focuses on predicting which team will score more points in a specific quarter of an upcoming basketball game between New York and Boston. It allows participants to speculate on short-term performance rather than the overall game outcome. The resolution depends solely on the points scored during the designated quarter.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team scores the most points in the third quarter of the New York versus Boston professional basketball game scheduled for October 23, 2026. If New York scores more points in that quarter, the 'New York' market resolves to Yes, and the 'Boston' and 'Tie' markets resolve to No. Conversely, if Boston scores more points, the 'Boston' market resolves to Yes, and the 'New York' and 'Tie' markets resolve to No. Should neither team win the quarter—meaning the quarter ends in a tie—the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes, while the 'New York' and 'Boston' markets resolve to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains active and resolves based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the third quarter count toward the outcome.
