Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market is driven purely by individuals’ willingness to buy or sell based on their beliefs. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark, and significant discrepancies between the two may present opportunities for informed traders. It’s important to note that this market represents the collective forecast of participants on Predict.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher probability. Conversely, selling contracts drives the price down. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust predictions as the event approaches. The current prices reflect the aggregated beliefs of all traders on Predict.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Red Bulls vs. San Diego FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which contracts settle as winners. Traders holding contracts for the correct exact score will receive a payout, while those holding contracts for incorrect scores will not. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on publicly available information.

Several factors could influence this market before Oct 11, 2026.
