These markets assess how many goals will be scored in the second period of an NHL hockey game between New York Rangers and Washington Capitals. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of goals, determining whether the scoring exceeds that benchmark. The outcomes depend solely on the official game result, with specific handling for postponements or cancellations.
All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined during the second period of the New York Rangers vs Washington Capitals NHL game originally scheduled for October 9, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold: over 0.5, over 1.5, and over 2.5 goals. If the cumulative goals exceed the respective threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For scheduling changes, if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains active and resolves based on the final official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these second-period-specific markets.
