Description

These markets track the total number of goals scored by both teams during the second period of an NHL hockey game between New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets. Each market has a different threshold for the number of goals needed to resolve as 'Yes'. The outcomes depend on whether the combined score exceeds the specified goal count within that period.

Kalshi

The markets evaluate whether the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets collectively score more than a specified number of goals during the second period of their NHL game scheduled for October 17, 2026. Three separate thresholds are applied: 0.5, 1.5, and 2.5 goals. If the cumulative goals in the second period exceed any of these thresholds, the corresponding market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. All markets exclude overtime goals from the third period and remain active if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time. If the game is cancelled or does not start within this window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
