If a player enters the game during the first half but does not return after halftime—including any overtime—this contract resolves at the fair price set before the game starts, unless the player meets or exceeds the required points threshold, in which case it settles based on actual statistics. If the player enters the game after halftime, the contract settles based on actual statistics regardless of first-half participation. No injury designation, official ruling-out, or similar status is required for protection to apply.
