If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market relies on individuals freely trading based on their own analysis. As more information becomes available – such as team news or weather forecasts – this market tends to incorporate that information more quickly than traditional sportsbooks. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially closer to the event start time, as traders refine their predictions.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As traders exchange shares, the prices adjust, providing a dynamic assessment of the likelihood of each exact score. Higher demand for a particular outcome will drive its share price up, indicating increased confidence in that result. The market's overall volume of $139 demonstrates the level of interest and activity surrounding this event.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the New Mexico United versus Phoenix Rising FC match will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a recognized sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final score and the shares they hold.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either New Mexico United or Phoenix Rising FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact the game and influence trading activity. Furthermore, any significant tactical adjustments announced by either team's coach, or late-breaking news about team morale or internal conflicts, could all contribute to movement in this market as traders react to new information.
