Description

These markets track the total number of goals scored by both teams during the second period of an upcoming NHL game. Each market has a different threshold for the number of goals needed to resolve as 'Yes'. The outcomes depend on the live game action in that specific period.

Kalshi

All three markets resolve based on the total goals scored by both teams specifically during the second period of the New Jersey vs Washington NHL game scheduled for October 17, 2026. Each market has a progressively higher threshold (0.5, 1.5, and 2.5 goals) that must be exceeded for the respective market to resolve as 'Yes'. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime goals in the third period do not count toward any of these second-period totals.
