This market determines which team will finish the second period of an upcoming NHL game between New Jersey and Vegas as the leader in goals scored during that specific period. The outcome depends solely on performance within the second period, not the overall game result.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team leads in goals scored during the second period of the designated NHL game. Three possible outcomes exist: Vegas wins the period, New Jersey wins the period, or neither team wins the period (i.e., the period ends in a tie). For all outcomes, only goals scored during the second period count toward resolution. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the market remains active and resolves based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price.
