These markets track specific combinations of outcomes between the first half and the full game result in an upcoming football match. Each market requires both the first half result and the final game result to match a particular scenario for the market to settle positively.
The markets resolve based on the combined outcomes of both the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the New England vs Chicago Pro Football game scheduled for October 22, 2026. For any market to resolve to 'Yes,' both the specified first half result and the specified full game result must occur exactly as described. If either the first half or full game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to 'No.' If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the markets will resolve to a fair price. All markets are independent, each requiring a specific pairing of first half and full game outcomes to settle positively.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which may be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance betting action and ensure profitability, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If there is a significant difference, it could indicate that the crowd believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn't yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. Examining these differences can provide valuable insights.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official result of the New England vs Chicago match, specifically the winner of the first half and the winner of the full game. The platform will verify the outcome against established sports data sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding contracts for the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market prices at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team strategy, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected performance in other games leading up to the match could also impact perceptions of team strength. Major announcements about team lineups or coaching decisions would likely cause significant price movement. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed traders could signal new information or a change in outlook, potentially leading to further shifts in the market.
