Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, draw, or loss) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on March 31, 2026, using FIFA or governing body statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official FIFA statistics and governing body records; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Polymarket Netherlands Win resolves YES if Netherlands wins within 90 minutes plus stoppage time; NO otherwise.
Polymarket Draw resolves YES if the match ends in a draw within 90 minutes plus stoppage time; NO otherwise.
Polymarket Ecuador Win resolves YES if Ecuador wins within 90 minutes plus stoppage time; NO otherwise.
Kalshi resolves YES for whichever outcome occurs (Netherlands win, Tie, or Ecuador win) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one outcome will resolve YES across all markets in this group.
Extra time and penalties are excluded; only regular 90 minutes plus stoppage time counts.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, Polymarket markets remain open until completion. Kalshi follows the same logic, treating the rescheduled date as the resolution event.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket Netherlands Win and Ecuador Win resolve NO, while Polymarket Draw resolves YES. Kalshi does not explicitly address cancellation but would follow standard no-event protocols.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official match completion and publication of final statistics by FIFA or governing body within 2 hours; if delayed, upon credible reporting consensus.
