In the upcoming Nepal Premier League cricket match between Sudurpaschim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos, originally scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026 at 6:15 AM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result. The outcome corresponding to Sudurpaschim Royals will be considered correct if Sudurpaschim Royals is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Chitwan Rhinos will be considered correct if Chitwan Rhinos is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is abandoned or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw".

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis that might not be immediately factored into traditional sportsbook lines. This can lead to differences, with this market potentially offering a different probability assessment than what you'd find at a sportsbook. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while prediction markets are driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. It's common to see prediction market odds move more dynamically in response to new information or shifts in sentiment, offering a potentially more up-to-date view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the toss. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. The market’s efficiency depends on the volume of trading and the information available to participants, which influences the accuracy of the implied probabilities.
This market resolves around Nov 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the coin toss – which team wins the toss – will be sourced from official match broadcasts and verified reporting. The platform will then determine the winning outcome based on this publicly available information. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will not.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding team form, potential weather conditions that might affect the toss, or even significant shifts in public sentiment could cause the odds to move. Unexpected announcements related to player availability or changes in the playing conditions could also impact trading activity. Generally, increased trading volume leading up to the toss is a strong signal that new information is being incorporated into the market’s price, and could indicate a shift in expectations.
