If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is abandoned or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates insights from individuals with varying levels of knowledge and perspectives. If there's a significant discrepancy, it may indicate that the market perceives information differently than traditional oddsmakers, perhaps due to unique insights or a different assessment of player form and pitch conditions. It’s possible that this market will converge with sportsbook odds as more information becomes available, or it may remain divergent based on continued trading activity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player’s likelihood of being the top batter. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and responsive market. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This means that the price fluctuations are driven entirely by the actions of traders on Polymarket, and are not influenced by external factors or other prediction markets.
This market resolves around Nov 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the match between Sudurpaschim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos. In the event of a tie, the player who reached the score first will be considered the top batter. The official match results will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome, and the platform will verify this information against reliable sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly alter perceptions of each player’s chances. Strong performances by a player in previous matches, or expert analysis highlighting a particular player’s strengths, could also drive increased trading volume and price adjustments. Furthermore, any unexpected developments during the match itself, such as early wickets or a change in batting order, could lead to rapid shifts in the market as traders react to the evolving situation.
