This market refers to the cricket match between Pokhara Avengers and Sudurpaschim Royals scheduled for October 28 2026 at 7:15 AM ET in Nepal Premier League. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market is driven by individual predictions and analysis. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when public sentiment shifts. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the probabilities associated with each outcome, though it's important to remember they represent different methodologies for assessing the same event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the aggregated predictions of all participants, and the closer the event gets, the more the market price should converge towards the true probability of the outcome. This dynamic pricing allows for a constantly updated view of expectations.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Nepal Premier League match between the Pokhara Avengers and Sudurpaschim Royals, as reported by official sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result. It’s important to note that the market will close prior to the official result being publicly available to allow for orderly settlement.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team form, or changes in playing conditions could shift expectations and impact the price of shares. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also create volatility. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket itself can influence the market price, as traders react to new information or adjust their positions based on evolving insights. Monitoring these signals can help you understand potential shifts in market sentiment.
