In the upcoming Nepal Premier League cricket match between Lumbini Lions and Pokhara Avengers, originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 6:15 AM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result. The outcome corresponding to Lumbini Lions will be considered correct if Lumbini Lions is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Pokhara Avengers will be considered correct if Pokhara Avengers is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Thursday, November 5, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is abandoned or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw".

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, they can express that view by trading in this market, potentially leading to odds that diverge from those offered elsewhere. It's common to see differences, especially when there’s strong public sentiment or insider information influencing traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market’s depth and trading volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in their predictions regarding the toss.
This market resolves around Nov 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins the coin flip – will be the determining factor. Resolution will depend on official announcements from the Nepal Premier League or widely recognized sports news sources reporting the toss result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team form, potential changes in playing conditions, or even weather forecasts could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements related to player availability or strategic decisions made by the captains could also cause price fluctuations. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of which team has an advantage in the toss will likely impact the market until it resolves.
