This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gurkhas scheduled for October 29 2026 at 2:45 AM ET in Nepal Premier League. The outcome corresponding to Janakpur Bolts will be considered correct if Janakpur Bolts is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Kathmandu Gurkhas will be considered correct if Kathmandu Gurkhas is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly when public opinion diverges from expert analysis, offering potential value for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, if shares are sold, the price decreases. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share represents the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading it.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the toss – which team wins or if it's a draw – will be sourced from official tournament broadcasts and reporting. The platform will then verify the outcome against these sources to determine the winning share(s) and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the toss result to understand when the market will be settled.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team form, player availability, or pitch conditions could shift perceptions of which team is favored to win the toss. Unexpected weather forecasts, particularly those suggesting a wet pitch, might also impact the odds. Even general sentiment and social media buzz surrounding the teams could contribute to price movements. Traders will be closely watching these signals to refine their predictions and adjust their positions accordingly.
