Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. Over time, prediction market prices often become more accurate than traditional odds, especially as more information becomes available and traders adjust their positions. It’s common to see this market converge towards what many consider the ‘true’ probability of an event occurring.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring; a share priced at 50 represents a 50% chance of success. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
