Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds here will shift accordingly. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion strongly diverges from expert analysis, or when new information emerges that hasn't been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the NEC vs. Levski Sofia second half. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a probability estimate. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the likely result. The current price indicates the market's perceived probability of a specific outcome occurring during the second half.

This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official result of the second half of the NEC vs. Levski Sofia match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Resolution will occur following the conclusion of the match and verification of the official scoreline. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will not.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either NEC or Levski Sofia could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even significant momentum shifts during the first half of the game, could also lead to price fluctuations. Furthermore, any major news stories impacting player morale or team dynamics could also move this market as traders reassess the probabilities of different outcomes.
