This market will resolve "Yes" if the listed team is ranked within the top 3 (positions 1 through 3, inclusive) of the Week 9 Associated Press (AP) Top 25 college football poll for the 2026 season. Otherwise, this market will resolve "No". The "Week 9 AP poll" refers to the AP Top 25 poll released in Week 9 of the 2026 regular season, expected on November 1, 2026. The preseason poll does not count. A team ranked exactly 3th counts as "Yes"; a team ranked 4th or lower, receiving only "also receiving votes," or unranked counts as "No". If the AP does not release a Week 9 poll for the 2026 season by November 1, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, resolution will be based on the first official in-season AP Top 25 poll published thereafter. The primary resolution source will be the official Associated Press Top 25 college football poll (https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Week 9 AP Poll is released and the top three teams are verified against credible public reporting. The AP Poll is a widely recognized ranking of college football teams, compiled by a panel of sportswriters. The resolution will be based on the official rankings published by the Associated Press at that time. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on whether their predicted teams were indeed ranked within the top three.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Unexpected upsets in upcoming games, key player injuries, or changes in team performance could all shift the probabilities. News regarding team suspensions or coaching changes could also play a role. Public perception and media narratives surrounding teams can influence trader sentiment, leading to price adjustments. Major conference championship implications and the release of preliminary rankings leading up to Week 9 will likely be key catalysts for movement within this market. Any development that alters the perceived strength or potential of a team could drive trading activity.
