This market will resolve "Yes" if the listed team is ranked within the top 3 (positions 1 through 3, inclusive) of the Week 7 Associated Press (AP) Top 25 college football poll for the 2026 season. Otherwise, this market will resolve "No". The "Week 7 AP poll" refers to the AP Top 25 poll released in Week 7 of the 2026 regular season, expected on October 18, 2026. The preseason poll does not count. A team ranked exactly 3th counts as "Yes"; a team ranked 4th or lower, receiving only "also receiving votes," or unranked counts as "No". If the AP does not release a Week 7 poll for the 2026 season by October 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, resolution will be based on the first official in-season AP Top 25 poll published thereafter. The primary resolution source will be the official Associated Press Top 25 college football poll (https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Generally, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information beyond what’s immediately priced into traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks may initially set odds based on power rankings and public perception, while this market allows traders to adjust probabilities based on breaking news, injuries, or other factors not yet fully reflected in sportsbook odds. You may find that this market diverges from sportsbook odds as new information becomes available, potentially offering unique insights into the likely outcomes of the college football season.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Week 7 AP Poll is released and the top three teams are verified against credible public reporting. The AP Poll is a widely recognized ranking system in college football, compiled through votes from sports writers and broadcasters. The resolution will be based on the official rankings published by the Associated Press at that time, determining which teams successfully met the conditions of the market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Unexpected upsets in early-season games, key player injuries, or changes in team performance could all cause traders to reassess their predictions. Major coaching changes or significant recruiting news could also influence the market. Furthermore, any shifts in public perception or media coverage surrounding the teams could drive trading activity. Monitoring these signals and events will be crucial for understanding how this market evolves leading up to the Week 7 AP Poll release.
