Description

This market will resolve to “Yes” if LeBron James and Bronny James Jr. join the same NBA roster by the first day of the 2026-27 NBA regular season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. If both players are on the same franchise's roster, including via two-way contract, this market will resolve to "Yes". Players assigned to the G-League under a two-way contract will count, provided both players are under contract with the same franchise. Players signed exclusively to a G-League contract (not an NBA two-way) will not count. Two-way and 10-day contracts will count toward a “Yes” resolution. Exhibit 10 deals will not count toward a “Yes” resolution. The primary resolution source will be official information from the NBA and/or the acquiring team; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. While sportsbooks may factor in promotional considerations or public betting patterns, this market is driven purely by individuals wagering their own capital. This can lead to discrepancies; for example, if a significant number of informed bettors believe the probability is higher than sportsbook implied odds, we might see a higher price here. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but they are formed through different mechanisms and may appeal to different types of bettors.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of the event occurring – a higher price indicates a greater perceived chance. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price fluctuates based on supply and demand, driven by new information, news surrounding player health, team needs, and overall NBA developments. This dynamic pricing allows the market to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on official NBA rosters being finalized for the 2026-27 season and confirmation that both LeBron James and Bronny James Jr. are listed on the same team’s active roster at any point during the regular season. The outcome will be determined by whether or not they play in at least one regular season game together during that season.

Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding Bronny James Jr.’s development as a player, his draft prospects, or his health will be closely watched. LeBron James’s continued performance, contract status, and any potential team changes will also be key drivers. Additionally, any public statements from either player or their representatives regarding their desire to play together could influence trading activity in this market.
