On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Navy vs. UTSA game. The price of these shares reflects the market's implied probability of the event occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. Higher demand for shares indicating a particular outcome will drive up its price, while increased selling pressure will lower it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing expectations.
