These markets track the total points scored by both teams in the first half of a college football game between Navy and Air Force. Each market has a different threshold for the total points needed to resolve as 'Yes'.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the first half of the Navy vs Air Force college football game scheduled for October 3, 2026. For any market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., 2.5, 6.5, 9.5 points, etc.), it resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. Only points scored during the first half count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and risk management, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly before significant events or when new information emerges. Observing these differences can provide insights into where the crowd believes sportsbooks might be mispricing the probability of various outcomes in this contest.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing potential outcomes, and the price of each contract reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is determined by supply and demand – if more people believe a particular outcome is likely, the price of that contract will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust its predictions accordingly.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final total points scored in the first half of the Navy vs Air Force game will be used to determine the winning contracts. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the result. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand the outcome of this market.
Several signals could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Navy or Air Force would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they affect the passing or running game, could also move the market. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team morale could also influence trader sentiment. Finally, large volume trades on Kalshi itself can create price fluctuations, reflecting shifts in overall market opinion.
