Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially closer to the event. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives. Sportsbooks often factor in a 'vig' or commission, which can skew the implied probabilities. While sportsbooks may initially set lines based on expert analysis, this market allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs, leading to a potentially more efficient and insightful forecast. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing levels of information and market participation.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief in each outcome. The price of each contract reflects the collective probability assigned to that outcome by all participants. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust their bids and asks based on their own analysis, news, and perceived value, creating a dynamic and responsive price discovery process. This means the odds you see are directly determined by supply and demand, rather than being set by a bookmaker.

This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning team on Map 2 of the Natus Vincere versus Team Falcons match will determine the result. The resolution will be based on the official results published by the tournament organizers. Traders who correctly predicted the Map 2 winner will be paid out according to the final market odds at the time of resolution. It’s important to monitor the event closely as it approaches this date.

Several factors could influence this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either Natus Vincere or Team Falcons could shift the odds. Unexpected results in other matches leading up to this event might also impact perceptions of team strength. Major upsets or dominant performances in previous maps within the series could also cause significant movement. Finally, any public statements from team members or analysts expressing confidence in one team over the other could also contribute to changes in the probabilities reflected in this market.
