Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, as they reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows for more direct peer-to-peer betting. However, it's important to remember that both are simply probabilities based on available information, and discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions or access to information. It's always wise to compare both before making a decision.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, with higher prices indicating greater confidence in that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and reflect the evolving expectations of participants, giving a real-time assessment of the potential winner of Map 1.

This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of Map 1 in the Natus Vincere versus Team Falcons CS2 match will determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the tournament organizers, ensuring a fair and transparent process. Traders who correctly predicted the map winner will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected results in other matches leading up to this event might also impact trader sentiment. In-game events during the match itself, such as early map control or individual player performances, will undoubtedly cause rapid price adjustments. Finally, significant betting activity – a large volume of trades in one direction – could also move this market considerably.
