Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likely outcome. It's common to see prediction market probabilities move closer to the actual result as more information becomes available, potentially outperforming traditional sportsbook lines. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes act as an anchor for traders, especially early in the market’s life.
