Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, biases, or simply variations in opinion. If you find a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it might indicate an opportunity for value betting, or that the market anticipates information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines. It’s always wise to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
