Description

These markets assess how many goals will be scored in the first period of an NHL hockey game between Nashville and Montreal. Each market sets a different threshold for the total goals, determining whether the scoring activity exceeds that benchmark. The outcomes depend entirely on the game's first-period performance.

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the first period of the Nashville vs Montreal NHL game scheduled for October 8, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold: over 0.5 goals, over 1.5 goals, and over 2.5 goals. If the cumulative goals exceed the respective threshold, the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. For timing adjustments, if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain active and resolve based on the final result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime goals in the third period are excluded from consideration for these first-period markets.
