Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict define identical resolution criteria, including the timeframe, exclusion of extra time, and fallback data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The first team to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time determines the outcome.
  • If neither team scores within the specified timeframe, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Official match statistics are the primary resolution source, with fallback options (Flashscore, Sofascore, consensus reporting) if official data is unavailable within 2 hours.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market resolves to 'Neither'.
  • Data Availability: If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, the market will resolve 50-50, or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the completion of the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, and no later than 24 hours after the event's conclusion, unless official data is available sooner. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
