Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets are driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This market’s implied probabilities may diverge from those offered by sportsbooks due to differing information or risk assessments. Often, prediction markets demonstrate greater accuracy, particularly closer to the event, as more information becomes available and is incorporated into the pricing.
