Opinion
This market refers to the Serie A match between Napoli (NAP) and AS Roma (ROM), scheduled for 2026-10-24 16:00 UTC. - NAP: If Napoli wins, the outcome is settled as "Yes"; otherwise "No". - DRAW: If the match ends in a draw, the outcome is "Yes". - ROM: If AS Roma wins, the outcome is "Yes"; otherwise "No". Settlement will be based on the result at the end of regular time (90 minutes) plus stoppage time. If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match is played and completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, the DRAW option will resolve to "Yes", while both NAP and ROM options will resolve to "No". The primary settlement source will be the official result published by Serie A. If the governing body or event organizers have not published the final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus from credible sources may be used instead. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution. Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Opinion, aims to reflect the true probability of an outcome, though discrepancies can and do occur. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast events, especially when a significant amount of information isn't yet publicly available or is being undervalued by the broader market.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome. The price of these contracts directly reflects the probability assigned to each possible result. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently aggregates information as traders react to news, analysis, and each other’s actions, constantly updating the perceived likelihood of each outcome. This dynamic pricing means the odds can shift rapidly based on new information or changes in sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Napoli vs Roma match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The platform will verify the final score and determine the winning outcome based on that information. Traders who correctly predicted the result will be eligible for payout based on their holdings in the winning contract.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Napoli or Roma would likely cause a shift in the odds. Unexpected changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trader behavior. Major upsets in other related matches, or even significant media coverage affecting public perception, could also contribute to movement in this market.
