Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of traders. If a significant number of traders believe the probability of three or more goals is higher than implied by sportsbook odds, the price will move accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts leading up to the match. Analyzing these differences can reveal valuable insights.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of the event occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts dynamically. This creates a real-time assessment of the likelihood of three or more total goals in the Napoli vs Bodo/Glimt match, driven entirely by supply and demand within the market.

This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Napoli vs Bodo/Glimt match will be used to determine if three or more total goals were scored. The resolution will reflect the official match statistics as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders holding contracts predicting three or more goals will be paid out if the condition is met, while those holding contracts predicting fewer goals will forfeit their stake.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Napoli or Bodo/Glimt would likely cause movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to significantly impact the game, could also play a role. Furthermore, updates on team formations or tactical approaches, as well as any pre-match analysis suggesting a high-scoring or low-scoring affair, could shift trader sentiment and affect the price. Unexpected news related to team morale or internal conflicts could also be a catalyst.
