On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price reflects the aggregate sentiment of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's likelihood. This differs from fixed-odds betting, where prices are set by a bookmaker.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Napirko vs. Pesternikov match, as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy. Traders who hold shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 13, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or significant shifts in public perception could cause traders to reassess their positions.
