Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish initial lines based on their own analysis, aiming to balance betting action on both sides. This market, however, allows traders to freely buy and sell shares, causing the odds to adjust based on collective belief. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, they can take a position in the prediction market, driving the odds closer to their perceived true probability. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of real-world information becomes available.

This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the second half of the NAC Breda vs. MVV Maastricht match will be used to determine the winning share. The platform will verify the official match result, and shares will be redeemed accordingly. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will not.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before Oct 9, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team tactics for either NAC Breda or MVV Maastricht could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, live updates during the first half of the match—such as goals scored, red cards issued, or significant changes in possession—will likely cause rapid adjustments in the market price as traders react to the unfolding events.
