On July 17, 2026, People reported that current Myspace owners Chris and Tim Vanderhook stated during their appearance in Tommy Avallone’s documentary Myspace that they plan to relaunch the platform. You can read more about that here: https://people.com/myspace-current-owners-explain-site-end-and-why-relaunches-havent-worked-12020148 This market will resolve to "Yes" if Myspace is relaunched between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A qualifying relaunch is defined as the launch of a materially new or substantially redesigned version of the Myspace platform or service that is officially presented as a relaunch, revival, return, comeback, or new version of Myspace by Myspace or its owners. The relaunch must be live and publicly accessible, including via open beta or open rolling waitlist signups. A closed beta or any form of private access will not suffice. The continued availability of the existing Myspace website, ordinary updates or redesigns to the existing platform, the restoration or addition of individual features, or an announcement of plans to relaunch Myspace will not alone qualify. The release must be either clearly defined and publicly announced as being accessible to the general public or otherwise made publicly accessible and explicitly labeled within the company’s official website (Myspace.com), an official Myspace subdomain, another official URL, an official mobile application or similar. Labeling errors, placeholder text, or version names displayed on the website that do not correspond to a model that is actually accessible to the general public will not qualify. The primary resolution source will be the Myspace platform or service, as well as official information from Myspace and its owners, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

Currently, this market shows a very high probability of a Myspace relaunch, with the leading outcome priced near 13.0%. That contrasts with many tech analysts, who remain more cautious and split between expecting a rebranded service, a limited comeback, or no major action at all. The prediction market reflects aggressive betting on nostalgia-driven revival efforts, while traditional forecasts weigh broader platform viability and market saturation risks.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders set the odds through a decentralized betting pool, with the current top outcome priced around 13.0%. The market price adjusts continuously based on new bets, reflecting collective expectations about whether a full Myspace relaunch will occur before the end of 2026. Volume of $0 over the last 24 hours shows how actively participants are trading this prediction.
This market resolves around Jan 1, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. A successful relaunch would need clear, widely reported evidence — such as an official website relaunch, major media coverage of user access, and active service operation — to satisfy the conditions for the 'yes' outcome.
News about new funding rounds, executive hires, or partnerships involving the Myspace brand could push this market sharply. Any beta tests, teaser campaigns, or social media buzz indicating active development would likely raise the probability, while silence or competing platform launches might drive it down. Macro trends in social media usage and nostalgia-driven tech revivals also remain key drivers for trader sentiment.
