On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of each outcome. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders collectively believe is the likelihood of each player winning the match, and that price adjusts dynamically with every trade.
This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Mukhin vs. Semenets match, as determined by the governing body of the sport. The platform will verify the result against publicly available data to determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand when the market will be settled.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. News regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or even weather conditions could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about player form or fitness levels would likely have a significant impact. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or analyst predictions, could also play a role, although this market represents the views of informed traders rather than the general public. Any significant development related to the players involved could move the price of shares.
