Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd assessment, often differing from those initially set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it could indicate disagreement about the underlying probabilities or differing levels of information available to each group. It's common to see this market adjust more rapidly to new information than traditional betting venues.
