Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both have their own strengths and weaknesses in predicting outcomes.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the collective assessment of all traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts dynamically, providing a real-time indication of the perceived likelihood of each team winning Map 1. This creates a fluid and responsive pricing mechanism driven entirely by user activity.

This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of Map 1 in the MOUZ vs M80 match. The team declared the winner by the official tournament organizers will determine the winning outcome for this market. No further information about the resolution process is available at this time.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either MOUZ or M80 could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches leading up to this event might also impact perceptions of team strength. Furthermore, in-game events during the match itself, such as early map control or individual player performances, could trigger rapid price adjustments as traders react to the unfolding action.
