Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets are driven by the collective forecasts of informed traders. This can result in prediction markets being more accurate, especially when a significant amount of volume is traded. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, particularly if they are misaligned with the crowd's expectations in this market.
