Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the outcome. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market perceives information differently than sportsbooks, or that one venue has access to unique insights. It’s important to consider both when forming your own assessment.
